Do you offer the
official certification exam on-line?

stage. However this may change in the future.
How/where can I sit
the official certification exam?
To sit the official ITIL v3 exam there are two major test providers
- Pearson VUE and Prometric. Both have extensive global networks so
we are sure there is a opportunity for you to sit the exam near
you.
See http://www.prometric.com/ or http://pearsonvue.com/exin for
more details.
Book an exam with Prometric in many countries here
http://www.2test.com
There may also be other opportunities local to you such as sitting
the exam at organisations that offer classroom based ITIL training
even without doing the actual training with them (for a small fee
on top of the exam cost though).
How much does it
cost to do the official exam?
Unfortunately we cannot advise on the cost of sitting the exam as
this varies from country to country. See the FAQ above for more
information and links to exam providers.
Are you affiliated
with any examination providers?
No, we are not affiliated with any examination providers.
How do I claim my
money back if I fail the official exam?
We offer a money back guarantee that if you do not pass the
official exam after passing the on-line mock exam by 80% or
more.
To claim this e-mail us at info@datajar.com.au and we will send you
details on how to claim. You will need a copy of your results that
you can either scan and e-mail to us, or fax to us. We will then
ensure you did pass by 80% of more in our mock exam. If this is the
case we will then refund your course fee through PayPal.
How long can I
access the course for after I enrol?
For the ITIL v3 and v2 Foundations courses you can access it for up
to 30 days from time of enrolment.
For the mock exams you can access them for up to 21 days from time
of enrolment.
Extensions to these times may be granted from time to time as is
evaluated by the course convener.
Do you offer a
'hard copy' of the course so I can study off-line?
We do not offer a hard copy of the course. It is only available
on-line. We do offer a number of downloadable resources to help
with your studies though including the ITSMF Introductory guide.
Check the main page menu for details.
Can I buy the
course on CD/DVD?
At this stage we do not offer the course on CD or DVD. This may
change in the future so watch this space.
I registered and
paid but did not receive a confirmation e-mail. Where is
it?
Check you junk items folder or the folder where spam mail is
delivered to. Your ISP may retain what it thinks is junk mail, you
should be able to access this through a web interface if this is
the case. Check with your ISP for details.
If you still cannot find the confirmation e-mail contact us and we
will look at alternative methods of validating you as a user.
Some people also use anti-spam technology that requires a manual
request to be made for authorisation to e-mail you and be added to
your 'safe list'. As the registration process is automated these
systems will block our registration confirmation e-mail. If you
have such a system please add the domain datajar.com.au to the
list. In such cases you may need to contact us to resend the
confirmation.
Do you offer
classroom based training?
Yes, Datajar can offer classroom based ITIL training on your
premises for groups of 5 or more. Contact us at
info@itil-campus.com for further
details.
Can my
organisation have private group training on-line?
Yes, we can set up private groups for organisations wishing to keep
forum and blog entries private to their group. We can also assign
someone from your organisation as a course convener/supervisor
which will give them the ability to see the progress of all
students within your group as well as view statistics related to
the group. To set this up e-mail us at
info@itil-campus.com
Do you offer
group discounts?
Yes, we offer group discounts for the ITIL v3 foundations course as
per the following table:
05-10 Participants - 10%
11-20 Participants - 20%
21-30 Participants - 30%
31-50 Participants - 40%
50+ Participants - 50%
Contact is at
info@itil-campus.com for details
on how to apply for the discount.
Can I be invoiced
rather than paying on-line?
Yes, we can invoice you however you will not be able to access the
course until payment is received and cleared. Payment on-line
through PayPal results in immediate access so this is the
recommended method of payment.
Can I pay with a
debit card rather than a credit card?
Yes, PayPal allows you to set up an account using a debit card
instead of a credit card. The payment procedure is the same so just
click on the PayPal link and follow the directions from
PayPal.
Can I pay with a
bank transfer rather than credit card?
Yes, PayPal allows you to set up an account to draw funds from a
bank account to pay on-line rather than using a credit or debit
card. The payment procedure is the same so just click on the PayPal
link and follow the directions from PayPal.
Do you offer
discounts for full time students or pensioners?
Due to the nature of the material we offer our target market is for
IT professionals seeking to enhance their career, or to comply with
job requirements. We do not think the material is of particular
interest to full time students or to pensioners.
As such we do not offer discounts for these groups of people.
I see a field on the sign up form
where I can put in a discount code. Where can I get such a
code?
Discount codes are provided to organisation groups where a discount
structure has been agreed (see FAQ - "Do you offer group
discounts?") or as part of a promotion we may run from time to
time.
I need help. What support services do you offer?
For help with your ITIL study we suggest you make a post on the
forums. Other students or someone from our organisation will try to
answer your question.
For help with technical issues with the course (you find a bug for
example) then please e-mail us at
info@itil-campus.com
or use the on-line contact form.
We do not provide answers to the official certification exam.
I have paid and
enrolled for the course but now can't access. What do I
do?
Send and e-mail to
info@itil-campus.com and we will
rectify the situation for you.
Do you accept suggestions for new
features/content/courses?
We accept suggestions for new features, additional content, or
new courses. However, we may not be able to add new features due
to restrictions with the framework we use. We will add content if
we feel it is suitable and will benefit the majority of
students.
We will also add new courses if we feel there is a great enough
demand in the market. Send and e-mail to info@itil-campus.com for any
requests or suggestions.
I found a
spelling/grammar/logic error in the course, who do I
tell?
Please note that we have written the course using Australian
English. So for our American cousins some of the spelling may look
odd but actually be correct.
There will be cases where the grammar may be incorrect of the
sentence structure just doesn't make sense. We are technical people
not writers or poets so don't expect eloquence of prose. However,
we are more than happy to correct any errors you find (and
hopefully learn something along the way). So, if you find any
errors or omissions, grammar, spelling or sentence structure issues
please let us know by e-mailing us the sentence, followed by how
you think it should read.
Send all English lessons to
info@itil-campus.com
Do you offer the
course in any other language other than English?
We would love to but we are limited in our English vocabulary,
imagine what a mess we'd make with other languages. However, if you
would like to offer your services to translate the course to
another language we would be happy to accept the offer. We may even
be able to work out a compensation arrangement.
Languages we are interested in translating to are:
Japanese, Korean, Chinese, French, Spanish - as these are the
languages we have had request for to date.
